I have never felt salvation in nature. I love cities above all. A landscape with it's crowd of trees and flowers and grass that repeats itself indefintely- the repetition makes me dizzy. It takes away all of the meaning of nature. It's like a word you repeat too often. The static immobility of nature is that really scares me.
هیچ گاه راهِ نجات را در طبیعت نیافته ام. در عوض شهر ها را بسیار دوست دارم. منظره چمن زاری پر از درختان و گل ها همیشه خود را تکرار میکند-تکراری که برایم سرگیجه آوراست. این تکرار معنای طبیعت را نیز از بین می برد. همچون واژه ای که بارها گفته شده باشد. سِ همیشگی طبیعت مرا می هراساند.
